Certified-Organic Compost
Compost is used as a garden fertilizer, instead of animal manure. Rich in important nutrients for your plants, our compost is also virtually weed-free. The compost is made from cow manure and shredded newspaper that has been "cooked" or heated to create a rich organic material that becomes compost. Our compost is very unique in that it has more nutritional value to plants than the average compost sold by other suppliers, due to the cow manure. It is even odorless and free from rocks and other debris. What's more, our compost is also filled with earthworms, which are very important in aerating your garden soil. We recommend adding compost to your garden as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring, or in the fall. We currently charge $40 per yard, with an additional fee for delivery.
